Stora Enso and Protacon have signed an agreement on the provision of engineering services for the project in which Stora Enso will convert its Oulu paper mill into a board production plant.
Protacon is an active “open source operator”, which means that we also share code for the general use via the Internet. We, in turn, make wide use of software, components and libraries published by others as open source code, ranging from server operating systems and databases to small auxiliary libraries.
The technology company Protacon and the data and cloud delivery center company Ficolo have agreed on cooperation on data center business. This means that, in the future, Protacon’s current data center services will be provided from Ficolo’s data center.
